Course Overview
This programme is the perfect starting point for your journey into university study or employment in New Zealand. Over 16 weeks of study, you will be exposed to the everyday language for school, work and life. Completing NZCEL 3 (Applied) will directly qualify you for tertiary programmes at level 3 and 4 so you can start your preparation for work. It also prepares and qualifies you directly to the critical and challenging NZCEL4 (Academic) programme, which is a requirement for study at Level 5, 6 and 7.

Entry Requirements
- Gained IELTS (General or Academic score) of 5.0 with no band score lower than 5 or higher in the 2 years before the start of the course
- OR - Oxford Online English test B2, with nothing below B1
- OR - LanguageCert: B1 Achiever or B2 Communicator Pass overall and no less that 25/50 in each skill and a Spoken PASS (ISESOL) in an official LanguageCert test, or Seafield LanguageCert mock test
- OR - Placed in or achieved a pass at Upper Intermediate level at Seafield School of English
- OR - Pearson Test of English score of 35 or more
Onshore International Students
- Onshore international students require a valid visa and insurance to study on the programme.
Offshore International Students
- Offshore international students do not require a visa or insurance.
