Baseball at Albert Park
Seafield students enjoyed their outing to Albert Park, where they played baseball and relished in the beautifully landscaped gardens.
Tutor Nick Hanson took the Social Club students to Albert Park due to its central location in the heart of the CBD, and its historical significance to Auckland. Under the fountain and flowers are the remnants of army barracks from the 1840s, a maze of air raid tunnels built for World War II threats, and evidence of a Māori kainga (village).
